The world’s tallest statue has been completed in Gujarat, India. Standing almost 600 feet tall, the Statue of Unity depicts Indian freedom fighter and politician Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel , one of the most prominent leaders of the Indian independence movement, and the first Deputy Prime Minister of India. Brought to fruition by Michael Graves & Associates in collaboration with Turner Construction and Meinhardt Group, the memorial took around 4 years to design and construct. Approximate cost of building the statue of liberty is about $430m. There are approximately 12,000 bronze panels covering the structure, weighing around 1,700 tons. Cyclone Nivar is very likely to cross Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts between Karaikal and Mamallapuram around Puducherry during 25th November 2020 evening as a severe cyclonic storm with a wind speed of 100-110 kmph. The cyclone is also likely to affect the coast of Andhra Pradesh told by NDRF team. The Uttar Pradesh Home Department has sent a proposal to the state's Law Ministry for a stringent law to deal with the alleged religious conversion of women in the name of marriage, which BJP leaders refer to as "love jihad" . Covid-19 continues to wreck havoc across the globe, scientists are racing to develop antidotes for the new coronavirus, which began infecting humans late last year. Scientists and researchers are exploring various avenues to come up with medical treatments that can fight the novel coronavirus. One such treatment that's in focus right now is Convalescent Plasma Therapy. After China and the US, India has given a go ahead for framing a protocol to conduct a clinical trial for convalescent plasma therapy.
