The mutated coronavirus strain that’s been spreading in the U.K. , Africa and other parts of Europe appears to be more contagious and variant is 56% more transmissible than other strains, according to the study by the Centre for Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Diseases at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. In medical terms, a strain is a genetic variant, or a subtype within a biological species. The world’s tallest statue has been completed in Gujarat, India. Standing almost 600 feet tall, the Statue of Unity depicts Indian freedom fighter and politician Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel , one of the most prominent leaders of the Indian independence movement, and the first Deputy Prime Minister of India. Brought to fruition by Michael Graves & Associates in collaboration with Turner Construction and Meinhardt Group, the memorial took around 4 years to design and construct. Approximate cost of building the statue of liberty is about $430m. There are approximately 12,000 bronze panels covering the structure, weighing around 1,700 tons. The statue is located at the shore of the Narmada River facing the Sardar Sarovar Dam . The APMCs are government-controlled marketing yards or mandis. So, the farmers clearly have more choice on who they want to sell.
